Facebook is the oldest social networking site out of the four, with Facebook owning Instagram. Facebook is typically more bland with a navy blue and gray background. Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat has a more vibrant background; Twitter has a clean white and sky blue color scheme, Instagram has a clean white background with cute fonts, and Snapchat is known by its goofy ghost logo on a yellow square.
Facebook is typically used by the older generations which the others are used by the younger generations, millennials and younger. The sites besides Facebook, also has a more basic interface that is more easily navigated.
